CABINETS AND COUNTERTOPS ESTIMATOR

S&C Services Company, an established cabinet and countertop supplier serving the multifamily and hospitality industries, is seeking an experienced Cabinets and Countertops Estimator for our Woodstock, GA office.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and complete estimates, from initial review of architectural drawings and specifications through final bid proposal. Responsibilities include completing quantity takeoffs, identifying material and finish requirements, obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing, analyzing project costs, and communicating with general contractors to clarify project requirements.

The ideal candidate can work independently, manage multiple bids, meet deadlines, and maintain organized and accurate project records.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to determine the complete cabinet and countertop scope.
• Download and organize plans, specifications, and other bid documents.
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and material and finish schedules.
• Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and missing information; contact general contractors for clarification.
• Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, freight, installation, and other applicable project costs.
• Prepare complete bid proposals outlining scope, inclusions, exclusions, and alternates.
• Revise estimates and proposals as project requirements change.
• Maintain the project database, bid deadlines, pricing records, and proposal revisions.
• Coordinate the handoff of awarded projects to the project management team.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in construction management or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of cabinet and countertop estimating experience, including quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and proposal preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Experience estimating multifamily or hospitality projects preferred.
• Working knowledge of cabinet construction, countertop materials, and related installation requirements.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with digital takeoff software preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and meet bid deadlines.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must successfully complete required drug screening and background checks.

COMPENSATION AND WORK SCHEDULE

• Starting pay: $25–$28 per hour, depending on experience.
• Full-time, in-office position in Woodstock, GA.
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch.
• Annual performance reviews.
• Paid major holidays.
• Casual dress environment.
