Job Title: OR Tech / Surgical Tech
Location: Weston, Florida

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced OR Tech / Surgical Tech for a 13-week assignment at a respected teaching hospital in Florida. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong operating room experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment and floating between departments as needed.

Shift Details:

• Day Shift – 3x12s
• Shift options discussed during interview
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during operations
• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper surgical instrument handling
• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
• Assist with patient positioning, room turnover, and equipment setup
• Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• Float within scope based on facility needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR Tech / Surgical Tech experience
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must be comfortable floating to sister facilities if needed
• Pending licenses not accepted
