Must be Residency Trained in Emergency Medicine and certified in ACLS, ATLS & PALS. Delta Locum Tenens can assist with travel arrangements and credentialing, and will cover malpractice. Schedule: Ongoing coverage with a mix of day, mid, and night shifts as scheduled by the site. Openings: 2 Position Overview Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in an emergency department setting. Annual emergency department volume referenced as approximately 27,000. Trauma level referenced as Level III. Charting system: Epic. Coverage model includes APP support as scheduled by the site. Required Qualifications MD or DO. Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine as accepted by the site. Active Louisiana medical license. DEA with Louisiana address and Louisiana controlled substance registration as required. ACLS, ATLS, and PALS as required by the site. Case logs for the past two years as required by the site. Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
