Full Time Buffalo, NY, US 12 days ago Requisition ID: 2815 Salary Range: $43.11 To $43.11 Hourly Job Summary Summary: This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining electrical systems of industrial establishments by performing the following duties. Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. • Connect wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replace switches and fuses, splice wire, and insulate wire with friction tape. • Clean work area, tools, and equipment.
