Job Summary: Need a Validation engineer to support the customer Validation boards Pre and post silicon bring up, Testing the voltage regulator circuits, low speed interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART etc...

Key Responsibilities

• Validate the Voltage Regulator designs and publish the results to different stake holders for review
• Debugging in case of failures
• Firmware loading and testing

Skill Requirements

• Knowledge on power electronics ( DC/DC conversion, power conversion topologies)
• Good Knowledge on DC-DC regulators ( Voltage regulators) design and testing
• Understanding of Board-mount/Front-end Power
• Proficiency with various power analyzers (e.g oscilloscope, AC/DC power source, function generators, electronic-loads, etc.)
• Experience with soldering components on pcb.
• Proficiency in reading schematics preferably Cadence OrCAD and proficiency in reviewing the PCB layout in Allegro
• Comfortable in a Linux environment and knowledge on Linux commands
• Good experience in Debugging Power circuits
• Knowledge and work experience on I2C, SPI like low level interfaces

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in failure analysis and troubleshooting skills in a lab environment
• Experience in test planning, validation, finding failures and driving issues to resolution with cross functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to document test results/data into a concise

Other Requirements

Knowledge and work experience on High speed interfaces measurements using oscilloscopes

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate's pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
