- $110k-$140k per year annual salary based on experience
- Senior or lead estimators with strong subcontractor relationships may qualify for compensation up to $150,000

- Take ownership of bids from review through submission
- Work directly with leadership, project managers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Use your estimating expertise to shape budgets, scopes, and preconstruction strategy
- Build strong relationships in the Louisville construction market

- Prepare detailed commercial construction estimates
- Review plans, specifications, scopes, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
- Use PlanSwift and Bluebeam to develop accurate bids
- Solicit, compare, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Partner with project managers to build and manage project budgets
- Review change orders, contracts, and scopes for cost accuracy
- Maintain organized bid files and estimating records
- Identify new commercial construction opportunities
- Visit local job sites as needed
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the construction industry with commercial estimating experience
- Strong background in hotel and hospitality construction with experience estimating hotel remodels, renovations, brand conversions, or ground-up hotel construction projects highly preferred
- PlanSwift experience required
- Bluebeam experience preferred
- Strong understanding of takeoffs, bidding, cost analysis, and construction methods
- Ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and priorities
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organization skills
- Louisville subcontractor market knowledge is a plus
- Field construction experience is a plus
