Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager Our client, a multi-brand restaurant group, is seeking an Accounting Manager to support its growing operations. Location: This is an on-site role based in Austin, TX Job Description: This organization manages several well-known restaurant concepts and is building out a centralized accounting function as it scales. This job is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, multi-entity environment and enjoys improving processes in a fast-growing business. Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities Oversee general ledger activity and review journal entries for GAAP compliance Manage key balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, inventory, fixed assets, and accruals Supervise accounting staff and coordinate work with cross-functional and outsourced teams Maintain internal controls, support audits, and contribute to system/process improvements Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP Prior experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff Proficiency with ERP systems and strong Excel skills Compensation Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to: the individual’s skill sets, experience, and training; licensure and certifications; office location and other geographic considerations; and other business and organizational needs.
