Registered Nurse (RN) NICU Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work Location Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway, Frisco, Texas, 75033 Work Hours PRN III, 7:00pm – 7:00am; 6 shifts per 6 week schedule required NICU Department Highlights Beautiful new hospital located in Frisco Strong team culture Couplet Care Model Average 120 births per month Qualifications Diploma in Nursing required Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required BSN preferred One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program Two years of NICU experience strongly preferred BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support required before providing independent care and must be maintained quarterly NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days required NRPA – Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days required CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required and maintained annually Responsibilities Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers Benefits Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice Strong Unit Based Council (UBC) A supportive, team environment with outstanding opportunities for growth #J-18808-Ljbffr Texas Health Resources
