Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT/RVS)Why You Will Love This PositionMonday–Friday | 7:30 AM–3:30 PM30-minute paid lunch1 5 days PTO/ 5 days PSL; prorated to DOHMedical insurance — Practice-covered employee optionDental & Vision — optional401(k) / Roth; after 1 year of employmentAnnual uniform allowanceWhat You Will DoYour responsibilities will include:Perform high-quality carotid duplex, peripheral arterial, venous reflux, and venous duplex examinations according to lab protocols and IAC standardsExplain procedures clearly and compassionately to patientsPrepare patients and examination rooms before testingReview previous examinations when applicable and identify/document relevant changesPrepare summarized findings for the interpreting physicianEnter preliminary results and documentation into the electronic medical recordMaintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked examination roomWork collaboratively with the vascular laboratory team to maintain an efficient, positive patient experienceWhat We Are Looking ForCurrent RVT or RVS certificationCurrent BLS certification2+ years of experience performing a broad range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinationsStrong knowledge of vascular ultrasound techniques and protocolsExcellent communication and patient-care skillsTeam-oriented attitude and strong attention to detailAbility to work efficiently and confidently in a fast-paced environment
