Join an Employee Resource Group, participate in an international lunch, or celebrate your heritage to find your place of belonging.Find Your Future – Whether you are interested in the opportunity to work seasonally or looking to launch your career, GEODIS is the place!*Eligibility varies based on location, job, employee type, or length of service.What you will be doing:Assigns order or dock task to the appropriate personnelCoordinates with the CSR and Operations Supervisor to determine shipping schedules, labor requirements for rework projects, and cycle countsShips individual product orders using a Fed-Ex or UPS shipping systemStocks and maintains shipping area with supplies and equipmentEnsures address labels are correct by verifying against pick ticketRequirements:High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalencyMinimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of educations and experienceExperience with warehouse equipmentExperience with Microsoft Office, including ExcelMultiple warehouse management system training preferredAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructionsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualAbility to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceThe following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
