The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Marketing Specialist to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Harrison, NY. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a hybrid position. Responsibilities Market & remarket a main street book of business including direct placement as well as excess & surplus Submit to carriers for quotes, negotiate, propose, and bind coverage. Negotiate with companies for agency coverage standards, terms, and premiums. Address any marketing service requirements if requested and review new business applications against proposals and binders. Handle placement through binding including all document processing applications, creating certificate masters, management and confirming receipt of all binding documents and client payments pertaining to placement. Follow up to ensure timely responses, all in conjunction with departmental binding procedures. Prepare proposal, binding, and financial documents for client presentation. Handle phone calls to and from companies regarding quotes and new markets open for affiliate companies. Utilization and rating of all online rating programs for account assigned to marketing and lines where just online rating is required. Develop relationships with company underwriters and understand market conditions, best placement opportunities, and where to place business to maximize our regional income Qualifications Highschool or GED required. Independent and self-motivated thinker and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Technical knowledge of product area or industry Strong written & verbal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize. Benefits Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000/year Company Paid Life Insurance, Long-Term and Short-Term Disability.
