Key Responsibilities of the Paramedic

• Respond to EMS calls and provide emergency care in accordance with PA DOH EMS Act and scope of practice
• Perform functions related to urgent and emergent disease or injury states
• Use appropriate rules, regulations, and protocols in patient care

Requirements of the Paramedic

• PA EMT state license, NREMT certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• EPIC experience required
