The Occupational Therapist will use interventions and education that assists patients and caregivers in adapting to life changes by modifying and adapting skills to improve performance. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.We're seeking a compassionate and skilled occupational therapist to evaluate patients, develop personalized goals, and create effective treatment plans that are implemented promptly. You'll provide hands-on therapy, educate patients and their families, and help develop home exercise programs, offering discharge recommendations when appropriate. If you specialize in Hand Therapy, you'll work under the supervision of a Certified Hand Therapist (either PT or OT/CHT) and stay in close contact with them to ensure the best care. Your role includes accurate documentation, supervising and mentoring staff, and supporting quality improvement initiatives within the department. You'll attend team meetings, help develop and implement treatment protocols, and promote a professional image while highlighting the services we offer.
