Position Overview

A healthcare facility in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 26-week locum assignment. This role offers a consistent 3x12 schedule within a medically directed anesthesia care team. Ideal candidates are comfortable managing a broad surgical case mix and working collaboratively in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia across a range of surgical procedures in a medically directed model
• Collaborate with physician anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure safe, effective patient care
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage post-anesthesia recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CRNA experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and nurse anesthesia program
• Active Ohio RN license required
• Valid Ohio Certificate of Authority as a CRNA required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience with general, vascular, neuro, urology, and trauma cases preferred
