Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) / Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general respiratory care, along with the necessary certifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and interventions for patients.
• Maintain proficiency in ventilation management, including intubation and extubation.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and daily management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current CRT or RRT certification required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in respiratory care.
• Experience in ICU, ER, or PICU preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, working from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. No call or floating is required.
