Driver/Site Manager | Part-Time | Meals on Wheels Program

Midland Care Connection is a not-for-profit, community-based organization in Topeka, Kansas, dedicated to helping older adults and seriously ill individuals stay independent and supported in their homes. Established in 1978, we offer a full continuum of care, including hospice, palliative care, home health, grief and loss counseling, and our signature PACE program. Our mission centers on “meeting individual needs through innovative care solutions.” Meals on Wheels Driver Responsible for delivering hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities along an assigned route. In addition to dropping off food, drivers provide an essential safety check, briefly interacting with each client to ensure they are safe and well. They may report any concerns or changes in a client’s condition to program staff, help maintain delivery logs, follow food-safety guidelines, and represent the program with kindness and reliability. Dining Site Manager Responsible for overseeing daily meal service operations at a community dining location, ensuring that nutritious meals are served efficiently, safely, and with dignity to clients. This role includes coordinating meal delivery and setup, supervising staff and volunteers, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, managing inventory and basic records, and fostering a welcoming environment for participants. The dining site manager also serves as a key point of contact between clients, volunteers, and the Meals on Wheels organization.
