Join Our Community!UPMC Passavant, an ANCC Magnet-designated facility, is seeking a Full-Time Environmental Services Associate to join our team at our McCandless location.This role requires availability for rotating weekends and holidays.Conveniently located just north of downtown Pittsburgh off McKnight Blvd, our campus is only minutes from Ross Park Mall.What You'll Do:Clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas and equipment following established proceduresPrepare rooms for new patients (including bed-making and discharge cleaning)Restock supplies such as paper products and soap to ensure areas are fully equippedRemove trash and maintain overall cleanliness and sanitation standardsInspect assigned areas to ensure quality and report any maintenance or repair needsSafely operate and maintain cleaning equipmentAssist with moving furniture/equipment and completing special cleaning tasks as neededFollow all safety, infection control and organizational guidelinesPerforms other duties as assignedAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsComfort with using cleaning equipment and performing physical tasksStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safetyAbility to work in a healthcare environment where medications may be present (no handling required)Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Act 34UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
