Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN or LPN Unit Manager to join our team at Lotus Village Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Sparta, NC. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring high-quality patient care and a positive work environment for our staff. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management

• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and performance evaluations

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to improve patient outcomes and reduce risk

• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care

• Conduct regular rounds to monitor patient care and address any concerns or issues

• Maintain accurate and thorough records, including patient data and unit statistics

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities

• Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting staff engagement and morale

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of North Carolina

• Minimum 0 years of experience as a nursing professional, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations and priorities
