Certified Medical Assistant

What We Offer: To coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe, quality, and cost‑effective service and care for the people within the practice population. What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Candidates must hold or obtain by the end of the sixth month of hire current certification from one of the approved registries: CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA) RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT) American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) Experience: Previous work in a medical office, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required; current state driver’s license (Palliative Care Only), required.
