We offer year round work, great pay and benefits and a sign on bonus of $2,500.00!Summary Of Role: Howell's Heating & Air Residential Service Tech is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while ensuring systems operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with local codes and manufacturer specifications. The technician must be skilled in troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC equipment, from traditional furnaces and air conditioners to modern energy-efficient systems. Strong communication, time management, and technical abilities are essential, as the technician represents the company in customers' homes and plays a key role in client satisfaction and retention.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesEducation sufficient to effectively and efficiently apply industry and company standards as it applies to the proper diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and/or installation of HVAC equipmentKnowledge and understanding of the appropriate use of technician toolsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematicsExcellent customer service and communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong attention to detail and time managementAbility to work independently and as part of a team in varied weather conditionsAbility to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.Capable of working at heights, on ladders, and in tight spacesMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or educational equivalentValid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation2+ years experience in HVAC serving and maintenanceMust be EPA certifiedAbility to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screeningCPR and first aid certified or agreeable to become certifiedPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularlyFrequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlMust be able to climb ladders and work from heights, including rooftopsAbility to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and confined spacesManual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate tools and equipment safely
