South Florida Culinary Site Coordinator

CookLearnGrow is looking for an enthusiastic SOUTH FLORIDA Site Program Coordinator for existing programs, to build new ones and be a key part of our growth. CookLearnGrow is a mobile culinary arts program teaching food literacy and cooking class programming to K-12 students with headquarters in Austin, TX.

We are looking for candidates who share our mission to inspire the next generation to love and value cooking and baking and who have the heart of a teacher. We are looking for Culinary professional candidates with culinary experience, teaching kids to adults, managing computer work- (spreadsheets, emails, etc.) positively managing a team of instructors, account relationship management, program management, self-starter, multi-tasking, working with a sense of urgency, understanding of timing, meeting deadlines, customer service, classroom management experience, strong cooking skills and cross-team coordination. You will be working with our management team of Program Coordinators and Site Coordinators in remote cities to help us deliver existing and new programs to students across the state and beyond. 

Site Program Coordinators directly support our program by owning key business functions of your city or region, including:

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of instructors
• Conduct Site Visits from West Palm Beach to Miami Beach. (field work)
• Build and maintain a team work environment. (field & remote work)
• Monitor/manage instructor uploads, feedback forms. (remote work)
• Coach and support instructors with classroom management and cooking teaching tips. (field & remote work)
• Field questions from instructors.(field & remote work)
• Create/Manage recipe schedule. (remote work)
• Teach classes/camps as needed. (field work)
• Technology: Google, WhatsApp, Apps, Emails, etc. (remote work)
• Attend and manage promotional events at participating and potential host partners to market the CLG program.(field work)
• Zooms/Errands as needed: facility visits, flyers to schools, office depot, post office, etc. (field work)
• Participate in team meetings.(field & remote work)
• Other tasks as needed/requested that provide support for your team and bring support to the program.
• Order, manage and distribute teaching kits from the CLG storage unit. (field & remote work)

What we are looking for:

• Culinary Professional with culinary education and experience.
• Passion for educating children and delivering high quality enrichment classes.
• Required: Level 2 Fingerprint Completed
• Loyalty to our program 
• Excellent program management skills. Focus on results. Follow through to get things done.
• Excellent professional written and spoken communication and customer service skills. 
• Teaching experience with classroom management.
• Ability to coach adults with teaching tips, classroom management, time management.
• Experience managing and inspiring staff with a positive attitude and a team builder.
• Fluent with technology (Google, WhatsApp, Apps, Emails, etc.)
• Ability to interact positively with parents, partners, staff and students.
• Attention to details, everybody can rely on the accuracy of your work.
• Strong problem solving skills. Excellent at finding the work around. Glass half full person.
• Thrive in a fast paced environment that requires a great deal of multi-tasking.
• Proactive. You are someone who is always looking ahead.
• Fluent in English and a US Citizen
