Our renowned institute offers comprehensive cardiovascular care, serving the Ballad Health system's major facilities with regional offices in northeast TN and southwest VA. Our forward-thinking team comprises 50+ physicians and surgeons, alongside 40+ Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), specializing collectively in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, electrophysiology, thoracic surgery, and vascular surgery. Position: Interventional Cardiologist - Bristol, Tennessee Seeking a qualified Interventional Cardiologist for our Bristol, Tennessee location. This role involves work primarily at Bristol Regional Medical Center (BRMC) and our adjacent clinic. 13 weekends per year, Night Call 1:6 with STEMI and overall 1:4 on primary service. About Bristol Regional Medical Center (BRMC) BRMC, the sole hospital for Bristol, TN and surrounding areas, offers comprehensive medical care. With 312 beds, it's a level III trauma center, featuring an adult and pediatric emergency department, and a diverse range of medical experts across specialties. Practice Team Overview Our Bristol team consists of 8 full-time cardiologists, APPs, nurses, and support staff. This Full-Time role stands as the exclusive cardiovascular group at BRMC and in the city/region, providing a stable environment prioritizing high-quality care and a family-friendly atmosphere. Practice Focus and Opportunities Our Bristol cardiology team focuses on general cardiology, advanced CHF treatment, pacemaker implantation, structural heart disease, interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular disease, and advanced imaging. Opportunities include cardiac catheterization, coronary angiography, pacemaker/ICD implantation, and cardiovascular imaging. Compensation/Benefits: - Competitive compensation with annual adjustments based on group productivity - Generous sign-on bonus, relocation, and educational loan assistance - Full benefits, including Medical, Dental & Vision insurance, retirement contributions, PTO, and CME reimbursement - Childcare opportunities adjacent to BRMC -Compensation Range is $760,000 to $940,287 Practice Details: - BRMC cath lab performs coronary interventions, STEMI PCIs, traditional and leadless pacemaker implants, CardioMems implants, ASD/PFO closures, and PV interventions including EVAR and arterial and venous thrombectomy - Advanced cardiac support devices available including Impella and IABP - Noninvasive lab performs stress tests, echocardiograms, TEEs, and nuclear MPI stress tests - On-Site CHF clinic with CardioMems remote monitoring services - Experienced APPs for clinic and hospital-based support - Advanced Imaging Department with CT and nuclear MPI stress test capability - Referral opportunities for vascular surgery and structural heart interventions Note to International Medical Graduates (IMGs): Please be advised that while the State of Tennessee has recently enacted legislation regarding the licensure of International Medical Graduates, this law applies exclusively to institutions with Tennessee-based ACGME-accredited residency programs.
