Restores and maintains function, improves mobility, relieves pain, and prevents or limits permanent disabilities. Provides care for inpatient and/or outpatient caseload. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team regarding the needs of the patient. Opportunities to contribute to presentations, publications, supervision of students/interns and execution of departmental education efforts.* Complete evaluation and treatments of assigned patients according to the established standards of care and physical therapy practice act including selecting assessment tools, tests and measures, goal setting, etc.* Monitors and responds to the patient's response to treatment and adjusts accordingly, reassessing the patient as needed or at least every 2 weeks, and discharging the patient in a timely manner dependent on the needs of the patient.* Collaborates and communicates with the interdisciplinary team members regarding patient status and discharge planning.* Perform screenings for appropriate patients (may include lymphedema, fall risks, need for rehab)* Accurately performs documentation on each evaluation and treatment session within the electronic medical record and accurately documents billing charges.* Documents evaluations and daily treatment sessions accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record immediately upon completion of session.* Accurately completes charge sheets billing within Medicare guidelines and performs live documentation for all patients with no more than 2 billing errors per month.* Other duties as assigned **Requirements**:* Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy* BLS Certification* Temporary Florida license expected. Must pass licensing exam within 90 days of hire to continue employment.* One year of clinical experience preferred. Clinical experience in an acute care hospital during PT school mayl be accepted.* Lymphedema Certification**Salary Range**$48.75 - $48.75*Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.*
