CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.A Material Handler is a warehouse associate who performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies in a distribution center.1st Shift: 7:00AM - 3:00PM, Monday-FridayApply now to be immediately considered!Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handler:Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production.Cut open boxed inventory in the warehouse storage area or on the rack.Place open boxes on the appropriate shelf of the flow rack.Walk the length of the flow rack.Wrap cords neatly and securely, ensuring they are tangle-free.Assist with labeling, tagging, or color-coding wrapped cords as needed for easy identification.Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for documentation purposes.Maintain a clean, organized workstation.Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.Required Skills and ExperienceCapacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Basic computer ability.Ability to understand and follow directions.Preferred Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience working in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center, manufacturing, shipping and receiving, inventory control, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.Clerical skills.Time-management skills.Written and verbal communication skills.Educational RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent work experience.Physical Demands and Working ConditionsWarehouse environment.Stand dynamically for long periods.Use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel; the ability to type, pick, pinch with fingers, seize, hold, grasp or turn with hands.Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.Push and/or pull up to fifty (50) pounds.Reach up and out with hands and armsOccasionally required to climb stairs or ladders.You will love working in our family-oriented company!
