Psychiatric Technician (Adult Dual Diagnosis), Per Diem Day Shift, Behavioral Health

Shady Grove Medical Center – Behavioral Health seeks to hire a Psychiatric Technician who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Responsibilities Facilitate patient-professional collaboration at all levels of health care. Monitor therapeutic treatment. Recognize and value differences in the care team and create a setting conducive to opinion sharing. Collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures. Incorporate clinical guidelines into patient care. Use information technology to deliver safe and efficient care. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years in a related field. High School Diploma or GED. Prior experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting preferred. Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Work Schedule: This is a per diem position with a rate of $23.00 per hour. Employment Details Employment Type: Per Diem Typical Daily Schedule: 6:45am–7:15pm Shift Type: Day Weekend Requirements: Minimum of 4 shifts in a 4-week scheduling period (must include 2 weekend shifts). Holiday Requirements: Assigned holiday rotation Shift Differential Eligible: Yes Pay Range If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
