Pediatric Neurologist opening in Grand Rapids, MichiganPosition DetailsPractice Type: Full-time, hospital-employed position H1b and J1 sponsorshipClinical Scope: - Provide inpatient and outpatient care to families across Western Michigan and outlying communities - Opportunities for coverage in Traverse City, Lansing, and Kalamazoo - Work within a neuroscience center recognized for high-quality care and exceptional patient experience Team Composition: Collaborate with advanced practice providers and exceptional specialists in a multidisciplinary environment Facilities: - Pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit staffed by board-certified epileptologists - Daily outpatient clinic with inpatient rounding Schedule: 8-5On call some weekends HighlightsHospital-employed position with a competitive compensation and benefits package Opportunities to participate in resident training, research, outreach, and quality improvement initiatives Engage in a supportive environment focused on teaching and multidisciplinary collaboration QualificationsBoard Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Neurology Licensed Physician (MD/DO) in the State of Michigan Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 120 days of hire - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 120 days of hire Community DetailsLocation: Grand Rapids Known for its natural beauty, vibrant communities, and access to outdoor activities Proximity to thriving cultural hubs with diverse dining, entertainment, and family-friendly amenities Access to Michigans lakeshore and numerous recreational opportunities About the Health SystemPart of a comprehensive health system committed to high-quality, patient-centered care Features a multidisciplinary neuroscience program with a focus on innovation, research, and community engagement
