Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant

Advanced Practice Practitioner Manager (NP/PA)Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP)We're seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner ready to step into a hybrid leadership role, combining hands-on patient care with oversight of a team of Advanced Practice Providers. This is an opportunity to lead, mentor, and influence care delivery while staying clinically active in a fast-paced urgent care environment.Clinical Responsibilities (Approximately 75%)Evaluate and treat patients across a wide range of acute conditions (e.g., respiratory illness, minor injuries, infections)Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound careOrder and interpret diagnostics (X-rays, EKGs, labs)Identify higher-acuity cases and appropriately escalate to ER when neededDeliver high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groupsLeadership & Administrative Responsibilities (Approximately 25%)Lead and directly supervise a team of APPs within the service lineCoach and mentor providers to improve clinical quality and performanceMonitor key metrics (clinical, operational, patient satisfaction) and drive improvementsPartner with Medical Directors and site leaders on staffing, workflows, and provider utilizationSupport onboarding, training, and ongoing development of APPsPromote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementQualificationsEducationMaster's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner programLicensure & CertificationsCurrent PA or NP license in applicable stateNational Board CertificationActive DEA registrationExperienceMinimum of 12 months of experience in an Urgent Care, Emergency Department, or similar fast-paced clinical settingExperience treating both adult and pediatric patientsPrevious leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience preferredExperience coaching or mentoring providers strongly preferredAt GoHealth Urgent Care, we GO above and beyond for our patients, communities and team members to ensure effortless, personal and connected experiences.
