We are looking for a skilled Security Technician with hands-on experience in the installation and programming of access control and CCTV systems. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in various environments and possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with both clients and team members.### Key facts**Location:** Plainview, NY**Engagement:** Full-time**Team:** Security Installation Team### What you'll do* Install, program, and maintain access control and CCTV systems.* Work with various platforms including Lenel, S2, Axis, Motorola, Avigilon, and DMP.* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.* Set up and integrate alarm monitoring systems.* Maintain a clean and professional work environment while ensuring strong communication with customers.* Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion.### Requirements* A minimum of 2 years of field experience in access control and CCTV installation.* Proficiency in working with Lenel, S2, Axis, Motorola, Avigilon, and DMP systems is essential; relevant certifications are preferred.* Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.* Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.* A clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check.* A customer-focused mindset and a professional demeanor.### Nice to have* Relevant industry certifications.### Skills & tools* Access control systems* CCTV systems* Lenel, S2, Axis, Motorola, Avigilon, DMP### Practical notes* The position includes a take-home service vehicle.* Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with five days of accrued PTO and sick time in the first year.* A monthly stipend for cell phone use and a 401k plan with company matching are also offered.* Paid time off is provided for major holidays, and there are opportunities for ongoing training and career advancement.* The hourly pay range for this role is between $25 and $50, depending on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
