What you'll do...

• Manage annual budget preparation by reviewing, analyzing, and consolidating preliminary budgets and presenting recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee financial reporting, balance sheet accounts, and audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Lead accounting operations by applying technical accounting knowledge and resolving discrepancies to maintain compliance with statutory requirements.
• Ensure consistent application of policies and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance through thorough review and evaluation of financial statements.
• Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and measuring performance to achieve objectives.
• Provide leadership through mentoring, training, and performance management to develop a high-performing team.

What you'll bring...

• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and technical accounting standards.
• Proven experience managing general ledger reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial statement analysis.
• Strong expertise in internal controls, compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting processes, analyze financial data, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and data analysis to support accurate financial reporting.
• Effective leadership skills with experience mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Commitment to ethics, integrity, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in finance, accounting, or related area OR 6 years' experience in finance, accounting, or related area. 1 year's supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Relational Database Management System (RDMS), Working on cross-functional teams or projects Masters: Business Administration Financial & Insurance - Certified Public Accountant - Certification
