Job Title: Nurse Supervisor
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Type: Local or Travel Contract (14 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM | 40 Hours Per Week
Pay Rate:
Local: $3,200 - $3,800 Weekly (Based on Eligibility and Experience)
Travel: Up to $4,491 Weekly (Based on Eligibility and Experience)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for an exciting Local or Travel job in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations and staff activities.

• Monitor patient care delivery to ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and procedures.

• Assess unit performance and collaborate with Nurse Managers to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Assist in developing and implementing corrective action plans to improve patient care and staff performance.

• Support nursing staff through mentoring, coaching, and performance management.

• Monitor and maintain systems for documentation, incident reporting, and medication error tracking.

• Participate in staffing coordination, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and hospital requirements.

• Serve as a clinical resource and leader during patient care situations and operational challenges.

• Promote effective communication among nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.

• Assist with policy development, staff education, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.

• Primary Source Verification of RN License and Registration from the applicable State Board of Nursing.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

• Minimum 7 years of nursing experience.

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration.

• Previous Emergency Department (ED) experience.

• Experience in hospital leadership, staff supervision, quality improvement, and patient care management.
