All About Flooring is seeking a dependable and organized Warehouse Associate to support our warehouse, delivery, installation, inventory, and showroom operations. This hands-on position is responsible for receiving and organizing flooring materials, preparing installer and customer orders, completing local deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable performing physical work, and willing to learn different areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse and Inventory

• Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming flooring materials and supplies.
• Verify product quantities and report damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Record all received, returned, and shipped materials accurately in the company system.
• Maintain agreement between physical inventory, product tags, and system records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
• Help maintain forklifts, tools, equipment, company vehicles, and the dumpster area.

Loadouts and Deliveries

• Stage materials for upcoming flooring installations.
• Prepare installer loadouts and confirm all products, supplies, diagrams, and paperwork are included.
• Prepare and verify customer pickup orders.
• Safely load, deliver, and unload materials at customer homes and job sites.
• Complete required delivery paperwork and system updates.

Installation Support

• Review the installation schedule at least three business days in advance.
• Confirm that materials have arrived and are ready for installation.
• Identify materials requiring advance delivery or acclimation.
• Review work orders, drawings, inventory assignments, and installation instructions for potential issues.
• Communicate missing materials or other concerns before the installation date.

Additional Support

• Assist with rug pads, rug finishing, carpet cleaning, and warranty repairs as needed.
• Collect completed installer paperwork and notify the appropriate team members.
• Help with showroom coverage, facility maintenance, and special projects.
• Learn additional skills that strengthen overall company operations.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, delivery, flooring, construction, or inventory experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to learn inventory and customer-management software.
• Ability to regularly lift and move flooring materials, stand throughout the shift, and safely perform physical work.

Compensation and Benefits

• Quarterly performance reviews with the opportunity to earn up to $1.00 per hour in raises annually .
• Additional $1.00-per-hour raise after becoming qualified to work independently in cleaning operations.
• Approximately 10 paid vacation days per year .
• Eight paid holidays in addition to 10 paid vacation days.
• 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching for eligible employees.
• Consistent Monday–Friday (8am-4pm) daytime schedule.
