Virtual Insurance Sales Consultant

Our most important focus areas include getting agents paid quickly, keeping costs minimal, and giving agents the training and support needed to achieve success. Job Duties Setting Appointments: 6-8 hours per week – reaching out to potential clients who previously requested coverage with our company and scheduling a time to discuss their mortgage protection coverage. Research: 4-5 hours per week – digging into the information the client provided to customize options for their financial needs in case of death or disability. Meeting with Families: 2 days per week – meeting with clients either virtually or in-person to present options, discuss coverage details, and help them apply. Administrative: 2 hours per week – following up with insurance carriers to facilitate client applications through underwriting. Qualifications We are looking for coachable, challenge-seeking, self-disciplined individuals with a growth mindset. Skill set isn’t everything for this position. The average commission on a mortgage protection product is approximately $600 per family you protect. Our expectation is that a full-time agent will sell 5 to 10 mortgage protection plans per week. In addition to mortgage protection, we also offer premium financial products to help people save for retirement or protect current retirement accounts (e.g., 401(k)s and IRA’s) from market losses. We provide extensive training on product knowledge and sales techniques. In addition to uncapped commission, we have a competitive bonus structure and incentive trips based on individual and team results. No agent’s success, earnings, or production results should be viewed as typical, average, or expected.
