JOB DESCRIPTION: To assist the high school principal in leadership and managerial oversight in all areas of instructional program and school operation.


QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY:

• New Jersey Principal Certificate (CE or Standard)
• Knowledge of Google Classroom and Google based student management system software
• Required Criminal History Background Check

QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED:

• Prior Administrative Experience
• Understanding of Freshman transition to high school
• Knowledge of best practices for adolescent development
• Understanding of scheduling.
• Experience working with secondary students.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Student-centered, goal oriented, well organized
• Experience with the Danielson Evaluation Model
• Experience with Genesis Student Database
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff, students, administrators, and parents
• NJ Student Learning Standards & NJSLA
• Differentiated Instruction
• Special Education Regulations
• Professional Development Needs
• NJ Attendance Laws / Discipline Process
