A 5th generation family organization that produces high-quality beauty products has an immediate opening due to growth. The Compounding Supervisor will oversee a 3 shift department of chemical, mixing, and batching.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day compounding departments, ensuring smooth production processes, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and identify development opportunities.
• Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement manufacturing strategies, goals, and objectives. Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
• Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Implement and oversee process optimization initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. Implement and maintain effective safety programs and practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain, to drive operational excellence, resolve issues, and optimize overall performance.

Requirements:

• BS/BA is required; ideally in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or other science or engineering degrees
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, must have experience in the chemical, blending, batching and related industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving operational goals.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management, and safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change, foster innovation, and implement best practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, such as OSHA, EPA, and industry standards.
