SDET / QA Automation Engineer with Python

SDET / QA Automation Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SDET / QA Automation Engineer with 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in REST API testing using Python scripting, and DevOps practices. This involves end-to-end system testing for gateway devices for different XBs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Python (proficient-level coding)
- Design, implement, and execute functional and integration tests for RESTful APIs and microservices
- Analyze API responses and backend behavior using NoSQL databases like Cassandra
- Validate deployments and test orchestration in Kubernetes-based microservice architectures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Git
- Work on cloud-based testing scenarios leveraging AWS services (e.g., S3, SQS, SNS) – nice to have
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–7 years of experience in SDET/QA automation roles
- Strong in REST API testing, Python programming, and Linux scripting
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools like Jenkins, Docker, Git, Kubernetes
- NO SQL Db experience is required
