Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school setting near Irmo, SC. This onsite role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference throughout the academic year, from August 1, 2026, through May 29, 2027. You’ll work a consistent 35-hour week, collaborating with fellow educators and specialists to help students reach their full communication potential.

Key qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) for South Carolina as an SLP
• Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain documentation and adhere to school and federal guidelines

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students as required by IEP teams
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting students’ unique needs
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to assigned caseload
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student progress and generalization of skills
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to eligibility determinations, and provide input on annual goals
• Maintain accurate service logs, progress reports, and required documentation
• Stay up-to-date on best practices and compliance regulations in school-based speech therapy
