Overview Registered Nurse - L&D for a travel temporary assignment in Glenwood Springs, CO. Start July 7, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,718–$2,994 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 12-hour nights with rotating weekends and on-call rotation. Setting: hospital-level labor and delivery unit serving a high-volume family birth place team. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,718–$2,994 Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and on-call rotation Start date: 07/07/2026 Setting: hospital-based Labor and Delivery with OR, PACU, postpartum operations Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in Labor & Delivery, including coordination with OR, PACU, and postpartum services to provide couplet care. Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, assist during labor, and support delivery as needed. Manage postpartum recovery and neonatal care for babies 32 weeks and up; support breastfeeding and newborn transition. Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure safe, evidence-based practices. Educate and support patients and families, ensuring a compassionate, patient-centered experience throughout labor, delivery, and postnatal care. Requirements Current Colorado RN license or compact to practice in Colorado, in good standing. American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required. NRP required. STABLE required. Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and on-call rotation. Prior L&D experience with OR, PACU, and postpartum care; couplet care experience preferred. Eligible to work under the agency’s radius rule (permanent address at least 75 miles from the facility).
