With a servant-leader manager with 10 years of experience at UF Health Spanish Plaines, we prioritize the success and growth of our team and the community we serve.Job ResponsibilitiesThe Cath Lab CVT, under the direction of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. This is a PRN Day Shift position.QualificationsEducation:Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory TherapyIn lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years' experience and:Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) ORRegistered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)Licensure/Certification/Registration:American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications:FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license ORFL Registered Respiratory Therapist license ORRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification ORRegistered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) CertificationAny of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fieldsBLS requiredACLS required
