P-Physical Therapist Assistant

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatric Salary Range: $29-$34 per hour (based on experience) Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide quality care to our geriatric patients. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve their mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence. This position offers a competitive salary and a fulfilling work schedule with the opportunity for weekend rotation. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the patient's needs and goals Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to improve patients' strength, range of motion, balance, and coordination Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue at home Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards in the provision of physical therapy services Qualifications Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current state license or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant Minimum of 1 year of experience working with geriatric patients Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Knowledge of Medicare and other insurance regulations related to physical therapy services Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Weekend rotation to allow for a healthy work-life balance If you are passionate about helping geriatric patients improve their quality of life and have the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
