CDL A Driver | Regional, Dedicated Runs | $1,700 - $2,000 Weekly

Road Warrior Staffing is seeking experienced CDL A Drivers for a 1099 Lease Driver opportunity operating between the University Park, Illinois area and Columbus, Ohio.

Drivers will make trips to the Columbus, OH area approximately three times per week, with regular home time on weekends.

Drivers may live near University Park, IL, or in surrounding areas, making this a strong opportunity for experienced Class A drivers located throughout the Chicago South Suburbs and surrounding communities.

Qualified drivers can expect to earn approximately $1,700–$2,000 in weekly take-home pay, depending on individual circumstances and operating expenses.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced CDL A drivers looking for a consistent route, predictable weekly schedule, and the ability to return home on weekends.

Duties

Drivers will be responsible for:

Safely operating a Class A commercial motor vehicle.
Completing scheduled trips to the Columbus, Ohio area approximately three times per week.
Maintaining reliable and on-time transportation.
Following assigned routes and delivery schedules.
Performing required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Safely transporting assigned freight.
Following all applicable DOT regulations and safety requirements.
Maintaining a safe and professional driving record.
Communicating with dispatch and customers as necessary.
Maintaining assigned equipment and reporting maintenance concerns.
Providing professional customer service.
Completing all required paperwork and trip documentation

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
Must be able to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle.
Must meet applicable carrier and insurance requirements.
Must maintain a clean and acceptable driving history.
Must comply with applicable DOT regulations.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Must be comfortable with regional driving between Illinois and Ohio.
Driving Record Requirements

Candidates must meet the applicable carrier safety and qualification standards.

No more than 1 non-serious moving violation within the past 12 months.
No more than 2 non-serious moving violations within the past 3 years.
No more than 1 non-serious accident or incident within the past 12 months.
No more than 2 non-serious accidents or incidents within the past 3 years.
No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions within the past 7 years.
Automatic Disqualification Criteria

The following violations or accidents result in immediate disqualification:

Cell phone while driving
Careless driving
Reckless driving
Speeding 15+ MPH over the posted speed limit
Jackknife
Rollover
At-fault accident resulting in a fatality
Any drug or alcohol charges in a commercial motor vehicle (CMV)
