Senior EngineerWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer with deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to join our team in either Rockville, MD or Trevose, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data processing, cloud architecture, and analytics platforms with a demonstrated history of delivering scalable data solutions using Azure technologies.Key responsibilities include:Design, develop, and deploy robust data solutions using:Azure Data Lake (Gen1/Gen2)Azure Data FactoryAzure Databricks (including Spark clusters)Azure Synapse AnalyticsAzure SQL Server & Azure DWHCosmos DBImplement secure data access and storage using:Azure Key VaultAzure Active DirectoryLeverage Event Grid, Blob Storage, and ESB for data integration and messaging.Develop Azure Functions and scalable pipelines for data processing and orchestration.Create rich, interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution scalability, performance, and reliability.Ensure all data solutions comply with best practices and governance policies.Must-have skills include:Azure Data Lake (Gen1/Gen2)Azure Data FactoryAzure Databricks (Spark)Azure Synapse & DWHAzure SQL Server & Cosmos DBKey Vault, Azure Active DirectoryEvent Grid, Blob Containers, ESBAzure FunctionsPower BI (Mandatory)Programming knowledge in Scala, SQL, and PythonPreferred attributes include:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesExperience working in an Agile environmentProven ability to design data architectures for large-scale enterprise solutions
