TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Tracy, California, 95376!

Job Title: Obstetrics Acute RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Patient ratio experience preferred Charting system experience preferred Description: 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week. Responsibilities include the administration of blood and blood products. Administer antihypertensives and antiseizure medications. Perform APGAR scoring and assist with vaginal deliveries. Manage bladder distension and cesarean sections. Circulate for C-sections and assist with epidural anesthesia. Provide care for fundus, lochia, and perineum. Implement ID/security banding and isolation precautions/PPE. Administer magnesium sulfate therapy. Conduct pain assessments and management. Utilize Pitocin (oxytocin) and manage pregnancy-induced hypertension. Recover patients following C-sections. Start and maintain IVs, perform sterile vaginal exams. Triage obstetrical patients. Use external fetal heart monitoring and infusion pumps. Manage PCA (IV) for pain management. Perform vaginal deliveries.
