Director of Sales - Camera & Video

Job Requirements Sweetwater, the nation's number one online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear, is seeking a strategic, customer obsessed, and commercially minded Director of Sales to lead the continued growth of our Camera & Video business. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for one of our newest product categories and supporting a high performing sales organization focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in the camera & video industry with a proven ability to build and develop exceptional teams, cultivate strategic partnerships, and translate market insights into measurable business growth. This role is equal parts strategist, people leader, industry expert, and customer advocate, offering the opportunity to leave a lasting impact on both our customers and our businessJob ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the long-term sales strategy for Sweetwater's Camera & Video category.Identify emerging market trends, evolving customer behaviors, and new technologies that create opportunities for sustainable growth.Partner with Merchandising to optimize product assortment, pricing strategies, inventory planning, and promotional initiatives.Analyze sales performance, customer insights, and market data to identify opportunities, influence business decisions, and improve category profitability.Champion a culture of driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, drive innovation, and elevate the customer experience.Represent the voice of the customer while helping shape the future direction of the Camera & Video business.Partner with Marketing to develop campaigns that increase customer engagement and category growth.Collaborate with Merchandising to ensure competitive product positioning and assortment strategies.Work closely with Customer Experience to improve the end-to-end customer journey.Build strong relationships across the organization to align priorities, influence decision making, and execute strategic initiatives that drive long term business success.
