Tommy's Express is looking for a General Manager to help lead the team in our new location in Warrensburg, MO! We're seeking a candidate to help deliver the ultimate car washing experience to our guests! If you love providing and creating a stellar guest experience, are confident with technology and have prior experience leading an operations or retail team, you will love Tommy's Express!Key Responsibilities:Ensure a consistently great customer experience for all guests and the highest wash qualityManage and oversee day-to-day operations and align practices to the company's vision, principles, and policiesInspire others and build a dynamic, strong team through effective interviewing, hiring, coaching, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating of associates and assistant managersMaintain a beautiful, clean, operational, and orderly carwash facility and propertyMaintain accurate and up-to-date records related to operations, human resources, preventative maintenance, and inventory; collect and enter data and photo/video documentation into a computer systemEnsure a safe work environmentBuild positive relationships with community partnersMake good decisions to resolve issues quickly and appropriatelyPerform other operations, maintenance and carwash site care duties, as requestedQualifications & Skills:At least 2+ years of successful management experience in the in the service industry, retail and/or other customer-focused industryConfidence and desire to work with people to inspire team member development, grow club memberships, and solve problemsGoal-orientation, a strong work ethic, and ability to multi-task and prioritize goals and tasksComfort with technology and ability to quickly learn a point-of-sale system and a variety of applications on both Apple and PC devicesExperience in operating a variety of equipment and tools and willingness to learn new mechanical skillsAbility to maintain clear and transparent communication, both verbally and in writingWillingness to abide by our uniform appearance standards and consent to a background checkAvailability to work a flexible schedule based upon project and training requirementsWillingness to travel periodically (up to 10%)Valid driver's license requiredThe position will start in our Overland Park, KS location and transition to the new location in Warrensburg, MOBenefits: Monthly bonuses based on Site PerformanceHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance401K retirement plan with matching contributionsEducation bonus programFree carwashesPTOOther:This is a year-round position (winter is our busy season!); open 362 days/yearThis position is contingent upon successfully passing a background check and drug test.
