Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified Restructuring Associate to join its practice in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in representing secured lenders and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and related transactions. Duties Represent secured lenders and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Handle DIP financing and cash collateral use. Manage plans of reorganization and asset dispositions. Conduct out-of-court workouts and restructurings. Oversee foreclosures and liability management transactions. Facilitate assignments for the benefit of creditors. Requirements 4-6 years of law firm experience in restructuring. Strong communication skills. Excellent academic credentials. Strong writing and analytical skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Illinois. Skills Proficiency in bankruptcy law and related transactions. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
