Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: CPI or Handle with Care certification preferred, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Experience with schizophrenia, dementia, manic bipolar disorder, psychosis, dual diagnosis, medical detox, depression, and anxiety disorders - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Behavioral Health specialty. The Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult patients. The nurse-to-patient ratios will vary according to the unit: 23 patients to 2 RNs and 4 CNAs, 20 patients to 2 RNs and 2 CNAs, 15 patients to 1 RN and 2 CNAs, 13 patients to 1 RN and 2 CNAs, 10 patients to 1 RN and 2 CNAs. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex patient needs. Candidates should have experience in behavioral health and be comfortable using electronic health records. This position requires flexibility in working hours and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates will be considered for additional hours if needed.
