As a member of the Compliance Department, the position serves as a resource to business partners across the organization by providing regulatory guidance, identifying and mitigating risk, and promoting adherence to federal and state mortgage regulations and company policies.Your Responsibilities on the TeamResearch, interpret, and communicate federal and state regulatory requirements to business partners across the organizationCollaborate with Compliance team members and business partners on enterprise-wide projects, training, and other compliance initiativesReview consumer-facing advertisements and provide regulatory guidance to the Marketing DepartmentUtilize Lennar Mortgage's loan origination software, Encompass, to investigate loan-level issuesResearch compliance-related inquiries from various lines of business and provide accurate and timely responsesConduct transaction testing and monitoring of loan samples to identify risks and control weaknessesReport findings to management, recommend corrective actions, and support business partners in remediation effortsMonitor regulatory developments, industry trends, and emerging guidance to evaluate business impact and implementation requirementsDraft, review, and maintain company policies, procedures, training materials, and other resourcesLeverage emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) tools, while adhering to company governance and security requirementsPrepare for and assist with federal and/or state examinations as neededPerform other duties and special projects as assignedRequired ExperienceMinimum of 3 to 5 years of mortgage compliance experienceRequired SkillsStrong knowledge of federal and state mortgage lending regulations, including ECOA, HMDA, RESPA, TILA, UDAAP, ATR/QM, TRID, MAP, CAN-SPAM, SCRA, and TCPAAbility to research, interpret, and apply regulations to business activitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage workload, balance multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Experience & SkillsKnowledge of ICE Mortgage Technology Solutions, specifically Encompass preferredExperience conducting Fair Lending reviews, including redlining analysis, matched-pair testing, or related monitoring activities preferredAbility to prepare and/or submit regulatory reports, such as quarterly HMDA Loan Application Register data and Mortgage Call Reports (MCRs) preferredThis description outlines the basic responsibilities and requirements for the position noted.
