Event Production Crew Member

Events & Exhibits Operational Crew MemberFor over 75 years, Modern has been a trusted partner creating extraordinary live events, expos, and exhibits. We are seeking dependable Events & Exhibits Operational Crew Members to assist with event setup, exhibit installation, décor, onsite labor support, and show teardown, while maintaining safety, quality, and professionalism.This role is ideal if you're looking for flexible, on call, or supplemental work, want to learn new skills, or prefer a job where every event is different. No experience is required — we provide training, and you'll gain valuable experience working alongside experienced crew members on real events. Schedules are event-driven and you pick the shifts you want to do. Some team members join us for flexibility alongside other commitments; others grow into more technical or leadership roles — either path is supported here.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with event setup, onsite show labor support, and teardownLoad and unload trucks, trailers, and event equipmentInstall pipe and drape, carpet, table skirting, booths, tables, chairs, signageAssemble exhibit structuresSupport basic electrical and A/V setup (training provided)Follow and mark floor plans and layout instructionsOperate hand tools and equipment safelyMaintain a clean and organized worksiteFollow all safety procedures and report hazards immediatelyRepresent the company professionally with clients, venues, and vendorsQualifications18+. No experience required— on-the-job training providedAbility to take direction from Production Managers and Crew Supervisors/Leads and work on a task with a team and independentlyExperience in events, trade shows, construction, staging, warehouse, or general labor is a plusAbility to lift 50+lbs, bend and crouch down and work on your feet for extended periodsComfortable working early mornings, late nights, weekends, and overtimeWillingness and transportation to travel to various in-state event locationsReliable, team-oriented, and able to follow directionValid driver's license preferred (not required)Forklift or lift experience a plus (training available)ScheduleOn-call, part-time, seasonal, flexibleNights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, with pay, as neededSpecial NotePay rate for this position will be evaluated after 60 days and may be eligible for an increase based on skills learned and improved.
