Part Time Custodian

Custodian PositionWe are looking for a responsible Custodian to join our Custodial team. This individual will be essential in maintaining and protecting our facilities. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a Custodian to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. They will have physical endurance and the ability to lift 50lbs. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative in this role. Part Time: 4pm-8pm Pay: $15.00 per hour Benefits Eligible: NoResponsibilities to include:Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out the trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfacesSweep and mop floors and vacuum carpetsWash and sanitize toilets and sinksRestock disposables (e.g. soap)Wipe mirrors and windowsMaintain outer premises and cleaning entrancesUtilize insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pestsPerform minor repairs (ex: change lightbulbs, fixing door handles, minor leaks etc.)Report major damages and oversee repairsUndertake occasional duties such as setting up for special events, organizing supplies and storage areas, spreading salt and shoveling snow from sidewalks, etc.Additional duties as assigned
