Medication AdministratorAdministers prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations to residents and maintains related medical records under supervision of Nurse Supervisor.Principal ResponsibilitiesAdministers prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations in accordance with approved techniques and notes time and amount on resident's chart.Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms and records.Presents medication to residents and observes ingestion or other application, or administers medication, using specified procedures.Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.QualificationsCertified as required by state law.Previous experience in long-term care preferred
